Picturing Impact:

Participatory Evaluation of Community IPM

in Three West Java Villages

The FIELD Foundation, Indonesia, November 2001

The goal of this study was to learn about the impact of Community IPM on poverty in farming communities. The study was carried out by farmers themselves, who took photographs of what they considered to be indicators of impact. The data, which consists of 84 photographs with captions, has been analysed using a Poverty Framework developed by farmers themselves and, for comparison, a Sustainable Livelihoods Framework.

This report has a total of 66 pages and includes a large number of photographs. To make it easier to download, the document has been split into 5 files. These are 'doc' files which can be read with Microsoft Word.

If you have problems downloading this document, you can request a printed version by sending a message to Farmers Initiatives for Ecological Livelihoods and Democracy (FIELD), the organisation which facilitated the study.  The address is:  fieldind@indosat.net.id
