Newsletters

The Sustainable Agriculture Newsletter (SAN) is a bi-annual publication of the South East Asia Sustainable Agriculture Network (SEASAN). SAN is intended for development workers and researchers in Government and NGOs to help share information and experiences which might benefit farmers and grassroot organisations. The last issue (Jan '99) focussed on the marketing for organic produce, with articles from Thailand, Philippines, Korea and China. Pesticide Monitor a quarterly bulletin from PAN Asia and Pacific. The latest edition (March 1999) includes articles on Women in Agriculture, and details of documentation and advocacy activities carried out in support of sustainable agriculture. ILEIA, the Centre for Information on Low-External-Input and Sustainable Agriculture, was established in 1982 by ETC Netherlands. For more than 15 years the LEISA Newletter has been a major source of information about sustainable agriculture projects around the

Videos

Videos of 15-20 minutes each are available from the FAO-IPM office in Jakarta which show the work of two NGOs featured in this issue of Spider Web. The video produced by Thai Education  focuses on IPM in Thai schools, while the video from Lingap Maralita in Philippines shows their IPM activities with both children and adults.
